Jack

A couple of weeks ago, I had a quick photo session with my nephew Jack. He is several months old, so we were rushing to get them taken before his teeth started to come in. Not even a week later, his first tooth broke through.

Showplace of the South

This shot was taken backstage at the Alabama Theater. I loved the simple tables with mis-matched chairs. The sliver of light was shining from an open door leading to the stage. The Alabama opened in 1927 used primarily as a movie palace. Today, it hosts more than 300 events a year.

Birds Eye View

Even with a mild case of vertigo, I managed to make it up in a helicopter for several hours shooting scouting shots for a client.

Update: self portrait after we landed.

Bowling Alley Chair

While bowling the other night, I spotted this lonely chair.

Brannon's - A Public House

There is a new sandwich shop in downtown Birmingham called Brannon's - A Public House. Brannon's offers a gourmet sandwich twist to traditional Irish, Scottish & English recipes. I was fortunate enough to meet owner/chef James Hardin and shoot images for his soon to be launched website. Please help support local, family owned businesses. 1931 3rd Avenue North

UPDATE: Brannon's site is now live Brannon's - A Public House
